Instead of manually predicting whether Gold will move up or down, the EA uses a structured pending-order approach to prepare for movement in both directions.

⚙️ How GoldTrap EA Works
Step 1 — Dual Pending Order Setup
GoldTrap EA places two pending orders around the current market price:
🟢 Buy Stop — Above the current price
🔴 Sell Stop — Below the current price
This prepares the EA for potential movement in either direction.
Step 2 — One Side Gets Activated
When the market reaches one of the pending orders, that order becomes an active trade.
The EA then follows and manages the active trading direction according to its programmed logic.
Step 3 — Grid Recovery
If the market moves against the active position, GoldTrap EA can use its Grid Recovery system to add recovery positions at predefined distances.
The purpose of this process is to manage the overall basket and adjust the average entry level according to the configured strategy.
Grid distance, lot progression and other recovery settings can depend on the selected setfile.
Step 4 — Basket Take Profit
Rather than treating every trade completely independently, GoldTrap EA manages multiple positions as a basket.
As additional recovery positions are opened, the EA recalculates the overall basket management.
When the configured basket profit target is reached:
All positions in the active basket can be closed together.
Step 5 — New Trading Cycle
After the basket is successfully closed, the EA prepares for the next trading opportunity and repeats its automated trading cycle.
Trading Cycle:
Buy Stop + Sell Stop → One Side Activated → Grid Recovery → Basket Management → Basket Take Profit → New Cycle
